Anna and Apollo

Sadie and Licorice

Maggie and Sully
Another student of Elois Brett-Kress of Grants Pass Oregon, Maggie and Sully have been decorated winners in both English and Western and came to TLD early this year. Natalie
Natalie has been with us for a couple years and has been enjoying learning the world of Dressage on our school horse, Logan, a Morgan gelding owned by the lovely Chris Porter. Natalie and Logan with hopefully make their debut down centerline this year. Photo Credit: Dorna Brown -
Karen and Luna
Luna has fulfilled Karen's dream of someday owning her own horse. After riding her whole life, Karen is now a happy mare owner and learning how to be a proper rider. After their fantastic trainer, Elois Brett-Kress of Perfect Balance Riding, moved to Oregon, TLD was elated to add them to the program. Janacek
Janacek is an Oldenburg gelding born in 2013. Born and bred in Southern California, "Jack" is our competition boy. Getting ready for his third level debut this year with the support of his owner Helena Barrett. -
Alana
Alana and her mom, Hayley, joined the team in the summer of 2018 and moved to our home location in September of 2018. Alana and Hayley are here to learn all things horses and try whatever discipline their hearts' desire. Hayley's ultimate goal is to earn a belt buckle with Alana. I think we can make that happen. -
Fonz Now Located in Prescott AZ
Fonkle or Fonz as we know him, is owned by Jill Wenig of Santa Paula CA. Fonz was parchased in Nevada and brought to CA to spend the rest of his days with the Wenigs. Currently schooling 3rd level and doing photo shoots (he's on our cover page) -
WC Haley
Haley is a 7/8 Arabian mare. Formerly owned by the late Vicky Rich of simi valley and now owned and loved by Tracy Lynn. Haley competes in dressage and breed shows. She's currently schooling 4th level. -
Genio-MAC *Now Retired at Oak Hill PRE*
Meet the star of Oak Hill’s Dressage program. Started competition in the states November '08 in Prix St. Georges. Genio is currently showing Grand Prix in addition to performing in dressage style sidesaddle exhibitions. He was imported from Spain about two years ago and is now in training with Tracy Lynn Rauch. Genio was trained by Juan Manuel Muñoz who rode Fuego XII in the Beijing Olympics. Watch for this horse in Dressage. Genio was Qualified in 2005 and owned by Barbara Currie. -
Templado VI *Rest in Peace our dear friend*
Templado is a magnificent P.R.E stallion. He was born in Spain and trained under Rafael Lopez of Caballos Espanoles. He came to the US 4 years ago where he has performed in exhibitions and flag ceremonies in California and Nevada. Tracy Lynn Rauch is his rider and trainer. You may have seen this horse in ads for Oak Hill and in some beautiful photos by Paco Rey. Templado is offered for sale to a specific type of home. -
Remedios PI SOLD
Remedios is an up and coming mare, recently started under saddle. Owned by Barbara Currie. Remedios' future will be in Doma Vaquera but she will also have to prove herself in the dressage court. -
Crucero del C SOLD
Crucero del C was recently welcomed back to Oak Hill, where he was born. He will be with us for a couple months of training and then will be offered for sale through The Foundation of the Pure Spanish Horse. Crucero MAC is the sire. -
Prestigio MAC SOLD
Prestigio was bred in Spain by Miguel Angel de Cardenas and at two years old he was imported by Barbara Currie to his current home at Oak Hill. After winning Champion Junior Stallion at the annual national show put on by the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse he took time off to begin his under saddle career. At three he was gently started under saddle and will begin his show career at first level in May of 2011. Just this past Olympics in Beijing and The World Equestrian Games his father, Fuego de Cardenas, represented Spain in the team and individual dressage.
